FAQS

HOW DOES NEW NEIGHBOR DESIGNS WORK WITH ARTISANS?

Through Homes Not Borders’ client-first mentality, during home drop-offs, we often form friendly relations with our clients and learn about them, their skills, and hobbies. Whether it is as a seamstress or as a technician, we then pair them with one of our partner organizations or with one of our new programs, such as the New Neighbor Designs brand or through the Moving Up Fund. For New Neighbor Design,  80% of sales of the items go directly to vendors, and 20% helps HNB cover shipping and marketing costs.
